We provide a superbill, which allows you to submit a claim to your insurance for reimbursement. However, at this time we are not in network with any insurance providers. Please contact your insurance company prior to the first session to determine if you are eligible to submit a superbill for reimbursement. Learn more about superbills here.

We offer a limited number of sliding scale appointments that are determined by your financial situation.  Please inquire further about the sliding scale option during your phone consultation.

At this time, we are a predominantly in-person clinic. However, we do offer virtual sessions upon request or due to extenuating circumstances such as illness. It is important to note that clients participating in virtual therapy must be in the state that their clinician is licensed in at the time of the delivery of therapy.

Individual therapy sessions typically run for 50 minutes, although this may depend on the specific treatment approach you and your therapist have discussed. Family therapy runs for 60 to 90 minutes. It is recommended that clients come weekly for at least the first 8 weeks. From there, you and your therapist can discuss what makes the most sense for your treatment goals.

Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees. The Estimate must be furnished within one business day of scheduling a service to be provided in three business days, or within three business days of scheduling a service to be provided in at least 10 business days. You can also ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. Our fees are dependent on the specific provider’s experience and knowledge. The fee for an individual session starts at $150. The fee for family therapy starts at $180. We value your investment and commitment to therapy and acknowledge that therapy is a significant time and financial investment. As such, we take our training and work seriously to bring you the highest quality care.

In an effort to streamline the payment process for clients, we hold a card on file and charge at the time of service. You are responsible for paying your bill in full each month. If you have an outstanding balance on your account, there will be a late fee of 1.5% of the total bill on balances that are still unpaid after 30 days starting from the first statement.

There is a fee of $20 for returned checks.

Our cancellation policy requires at least 24 hours of advance notice. Appointments canceled with less notice will incur the full session fee.
